Meaza Damtew, RN, BSN

MD Care Adult Family Home is a licensed adult family home owned and operated by Meaza Damtew, RN, BSN. As the provider, Meaza is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, respectful, and supportive home environment where residents receive individualized care and are treated with dignity and compassion.

With a nursing background, MD Care Adult Family Home strives to provide attentive care tailored to each resident’s needs, preferences, and daily routines. The home is licensed to serve up to six residents, allowing for a personal and homelike setting small enough that Meaza and her team know every resident by name, story, and routine.

At MD Care, the goal is to support residents in maintaining their independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life working collaboratively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and every member of the care team.

Our Story

From Nursing to a Home of Her Own

A nurse’s eye for individualized care, reimagined as a real home not an institution.

A Nursing Foundation

Meaza built her career in nursing, developing a close, attentive eye for individualized patient care the kind that treats people, not just conditions.

A Vision for Home-Based Care

That experience shaped a clear vision: a warmer alternative to institutional care, where residents are known by name not by room number.

Licensed & Opened

MD Care Adult Family Home opened its doors as a Washington State–licensed adult family home, welcoming up to six residents into a true home setting.

A Growing Home, Today

Today, MD Care continues to welcome residents and families into a nurse-led, personal care environment built on collaboration between residents, families, and the care team.

Why It’s Different

Our Values

Tap any value to see what it looks like in daily practice at MD Care.

Every resident is treated as a whole person their preferences, routines, and life story are honored, never overridden for convenience.

Care is delivered with warmth, patience, and genuine attentiveness the same way you’d want your own family member treated.

With a nursing background and a small, six-resident setting, care plans are shaped around each resident’s actual needs, preferences, and daily rhythm.

We work hand-in-hand with residents, families, and healthcare professionals so every part of the care team stays aligned.
